New Wrapper!

It took me a while to get started on it, and then a little bit more to figure out how to mesh my bodice pattern with the wrapper pattern I bought, but the new wrapper is finally finished!

The main fabric is a tan light-weight wool.  The accent fabric is a heavy cotton quilting fabric.  I used Kay Gnagy's wrapper pattern for the front panel and sleeves, but used my own pattern for the skirt, collar, bodice, belt, and lining.

I have not completed the broderie anglaise petticoat that goes with this ensemble-it's about 1/3 of the way complete so I just used one of my normal pettis for the pictures.  Despite my woeful lack of progress on the petticoat, I have, however, gotten a lot done on the Berlin work slippers that go with the wrapper.

The other slipper is done except for the dark background.  Here is what it looks like next to the wrapper:

I'm excited to see it all come together!
